  • Flavia Giannoli

The educational demands of nowadays global society, described as “liquid society” (Bauman, 2011), are extremely complex. Traditional teaching methods used in schools are not sufficient for a complete formation, therefore is necessary to switch from a society based on knowledge to a society based on competencies. The methodological aspect in school plays a central role within the society. An accurate didactic planning based on active and cooperative teaching methods is, therefore, essential. The “Innovative Design” method propose useful tools and teaching techniques for developing effective learning paths and guarantee a successful formation in the 21th-century school.
